MOT Due

My MOT is due at the beginning of November and I'm not sure where to get it done. Also need to get a 3rd service and pads changed (normal juddering) around the same time which I will book in with the Fish but note that they don't do MOT's and I am way beyond anal when it comes to letting my baby out of my sight and who get's to drive it. How are MOT's at the Fish done?

We get them done at the MOT centre in the village. Fair to say they are quite familiar with Monaro's now!

If the car is less than 3 years old get the brakes looked at under warranty.
I got new discs and pads all round for my Monaro.

Hi Ian,
I had my discs and pads replaced at Vauxhall about 2 months ago under warrenty so its worth a try.
My friend does my MOT's and i could take you up there, He's in East Haningfield and is Monaro friendly.

hi andy, thanks for the offer will bear that in mind. which vxr dealer did you get your disks and pads done under warranty at, might be worth taking it there, they should have less argument if there is any probs found during mot, pretty sure its just crap pads tho, no other probs braking normally. cheers ian

Had my first MOT done at Monkfish a couple of months back. Sailed through no problems. Top class service as always.

My first MOT is coming up in November too. Similar plans re getting it up to MF, since they've been servicing it of late and it'll be due the 50,000 mile at that point. Hopefully it'll fail on brakes so I can more easily justify getting a "better" set.
