AP Brakes - Do they "feel" different?
Discussion
Stuck my AP's on yesterday (Thanks Monkfish!) and after bleeding and re-bleeding a few times even tho there were no bubbles coming out, I have a rock hard pedal that doesn't pump up with engine off, and a long pedal that doesn't pump up with engine on. Stops straight, and no problem just feels completely different to the stock ones. Is that how they are?

Yes Mate, same here.I had a discussion with 'Fish 1 regarding this, as I came to the conclusion that it was a larger volume of fluid to move (bigger caliper piston volume, i.e 6 v 4) with the same sized master cylinder, there would be more pedal travel.
Turns out one of the Fish demo car has a very stiff pedal with little travel, but has steel braided hoses fitted (no expansion from rubber hoses).
I am ordering steel braid hoses for mine, even though Roger does not think it necessary. Horses for courses and individual preference etc. I would prefer a stiff pedal with little travel.

Did you bleed them yourself? Or did you have them done at Monkfish? Also, are you getting the hoses made, or can you get them somewhere already? I can get them made but they need an old set to copy.
You can get them from us. We have finally got some with the correct plastic supports on the front pipes so that they don't need to be "bodged" on. Dont think we have put them on the website yet!
