As thunder road is not too far away, is anyone else driving down on the 18th from the Midlands/North to thunder road? We could have a small convoy, maybe even meet up with a few people from the south depending on the route.

Hello,

I am stopping over also (coming from Bolton that day), same hotel as everyone else. I was wondering how smooth/bumpy this air field is ? Has anyone been on it recently as heard some are very bumpy indeed !!

Sorry, I am a natural worrier about my cars

Cheers
Steven

Sounds great fun, shall be sticking very much to the speed limits on that road then! Will have to make the time up on the roads I know on the way down smile

I'll be heading across country from Milton Keynes on the morning, I'll probably miss the convoy from the hotel and have to meet everyone there. It's okay though as the missus will be off to work at 6am on the Sunday anyway, she can kick me out of bed.

Smoother than any motorway IMO. (Except maybe the new section of the M1)

See you at the Hotel.

We`ll all be meeting at the Little Chef for a hearty breakfast before the convoy in to Woodbridge, so there`s still chance for a convoy.

will be more like 5am, just in case i hit traffic, 3 hours to the hotel from Derby if i go non stop and don't hit traffic. I do plan to stop on the way to eat. I'm used to leaving at 6am for work so an hour earlier isn't much
