Changing the hifi head unit

I know I have only just got the car but the first mod is wanting to change the stereo head unit and also the speakers, has anyone done this, any help would be appreciated

The first thing you should take a look at is the FAQ's. There is some good general informtion there about the cars. If you scroll down you will find two sources of info regarding the Stereo. One is about the steering controls and the other is about getting hold of a double or single din adaptor that matches the Monaro dash so you can fit an after market stereo.

If you do a search you should find some info on speakers and MP3 players etc. In fact there have been a couple of threads about it recently, so if you start at the main form page and click "next page" a few times, you'll probably come across them. Good luck.
