Haha, that's nothing.
About a week before the last meet at the grasshopper. I saw a silver VXR parked at sainsburys (colchester) I was in my everyday car at the time.As I didn't recognise the plate as one i knew, I though I'm gonna wait for the driver to come out and I'll introduce myself as a fellow Ro driver and make him aware of this forum. He is shopping....how long can he be?????
But it gets worse. It was absolutley hamering down, the carpark was like a pond and i'm sitting in my astra (yeh i said it...astra) waiting for him. the car that was parked next to him moved. so i moved into that space. then i started to play guess the driver with the missus as people were walking out of the supemarket. Oh yeh, i was with the little lady at the time who was calling me all sorts of names.
Anyway, this couple walk upto the car, i see the indicators blink and I dive out. Oh my god, Imagine it, It's pi##ing with rain and some punk pounces out of a beaten up old astra and I say I've got one of these...The driver gives it 'oh yeh really' while looking at what i had just jumped out of.
Long story short He isn't on here but is aware ot the site. He look at this site but doesn't comment. He also turned up to the meet at the Grasshpper.

well mark i would have locked the doors and driven off but people flagging me down and asking about the car has become pretty regular since owning this car they are amazing cars i dont know how i lived without one and it was nice to meet you and hopefully now ive joined up i can meet more like minded people

I don't pick my car up till next Friday :-( it's agonising! I want it NOW LOL but had to wait for the cash to arrive, I want to start buying things before I have got it, first thing I want to do is change the badges, where is the best place to get a full holden badge set?
