Right, I will be getting my ro on Friday, it is completly standard, the guy that owned it before me has a pair of powerflo rear pipes that I have purchased from him, (cheers Craig)

What I am asking, is, what was the first mods you done to your Monaro?

Think long and hard about what you want to get out of it before you spend anything.
Once you decide then you can go directly there and save yourself a bucket.

Thanks for the posts so far.

I have a 4.5 litre landcruiser, had it for as long as I can remember :-) thought it was fastish, need to rephrase that, it's like a tractor with a supercharger, slow but does have a bit of power.

When I test driven my Monaro last week, I could not believe how fast it was, and the torque was arm wrenching, I could not believe that anyone would want to make it go faster, but then again I was only in the car 2 hours, most of that was around maidstoned town and in the petrol station filling up LOL funnily enough it didnt seem to bad on fuel!

But like most things, I will get used to the power and want more, thats why guys on here make changes to thier cars to give that added power and was wondering what is the best way to go, if I need too.

You never mentioned power. That's an entirely different question.

Your right, power is oe of the items of anyones list of upgrades, but doing that upgrade brings the stopping mods that need to be done, do you go power first then braking and handling after? or should it be the other way round.

When I picked mine up this is how I felt for the first couple of weeks and flooring it in 1st the first time was a big achievement. But then you get used to the power, visit some websites and before you know it your handing over your wallet to the person behind reception at the garage in exchange for more power smile

I bought mine at the end of June with a catback exhaust, and by mid August it had headers, air filter, leads, proper headlights and a ripshifter fitted eek

Be warned, modding is quite addictive!!
