Great pix bud, it was good to see a few Ro's and R8's together for the last race of the season!!! It was an excellent day but was a great shame that it was VX's last ever meeting, it wont be the same next year without VX's promotional bits and pieces, hospitality and not to mention the great racing that they put in through the season...
Both me and the missus, sneakgloworm and his good lady where lucky enough to obtain tickets and passes that got us in the paddock and pit lane yesterday and whilst there yesterday afternoon we were stopped by ITV4 and asked what we thought about VXR pulling out of the BTCC (looks like we are gonna be on the telly at some stage
), after that i got thinking and looking at the grand stand picture on here and seeing the support at the circuit that i think its well worth setting up a thread on VXRonline (i will do that later) in hope that somebody from VX can see that their decision in pulling out is a big mistake, i don't think that the people who make these decisions realise while sitting in their arm chairs what the fans will be miss next year and giving it all away to BMW and alike...
Anyway enough of that for now, when i get the chance i will post some of my own pix as soon as i get them off the camera...

Yes it was a fabulous day. I have never seem their hospitality unit so busy.
The one piccy I wish I had taken was of the VX stand and BMW stand (they were next to each other). VX were overrun with people. BMW had not not one person on there!!
The VX marketing people must be doing something right.

Brilliant day at the races! When myself and the Rocklanders arrived at Brand's, I think there was only a couple of other V8's. Nice to see Mog's photo of a long line of us! Excellent photo's of the day. Also nice to see a huge sea of red VXR hats in the grandstands. Hopefully Vaux will return at some stage. Met some lovely people over the weekend, all total racing enthusiasts and got to rub shoulders with some of the VXR crew and drivers. Totally overwhelming for a carrot cruncher like me. Big thanks to Sean and JoJo for looking after us. Rocklanders (as usual) Rock!
