Been looking about for tyres to replace my rather worn P-Zero Rosso's on the front and have came across the Yoko Advan Sports, seem to get decent reviews and a bit cheaper than the Pilot Sport 2's.

Anyone tried them and if so what you think?

If they are the V103 they were a factory-fit tyre quite late on. Quote -

"Details of production fitment at Clayton which replaced the Pirelli tyre on models other than Senator and Grange.

Description: 235/35 R19 91Z
Design: Yokohama V103
Component Registration Number: 34372

Construction No. F0273

Construction is the world wide construction for this series tyre so just 235/35 R19 Yokohama V103 should suffice.

Yokohama speedo cal;

Auto: 6184
Man: 6269

Should only read about 1-2% under actual speed if not updated"

I had a set of Yokahama's on a Vectra GSI many moons ago, can't remember the actual spec, but they were pretty soft, all 4 gone in about 6,000 miles .

Thanks for the point, read a couple of more reviews and they complain about tyre life!

Think will just pay the small amount extra for the Pilot Sports, not tried them before.

I have Vredestein Ultrac-Sessanta on mine and so far I am really impressed, great in the dry, unbelievably good in the wet and only about £150 a corner.

I had a set of Vredestein Sessanta's on my last car and they have quite a hard side wall, and a progressive breakaway. So I guess they will suit the Monaro quite well.

Its what I'll be getting next, got previous set from here http://tyremen.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-2353...
