My first drive in the dark this morning at 5am noticed lights had a wierd beam spread, they had good infront road beam and also quite high lit up trees either side, (country lane driving) when I got onto openish road I was expecting oncoming cars to flash me, but the didnt, perhaps I am not used to upto date lights on modern cars LOL

Is it normal? there seems to be a V shaped spread of light.

I went out tonight in the old 'ro. Every bugger was flashing me! Think I'll get them adjusted.

you will get a very pronounced up turn at the left side and as they are projectors the beam cuts off very level too. From factory they are set very low so I advise either adjust yourself against a wall about 5 to 10 meters away or go to an MOT station and ask if you can adjust against their beam wall.

oh found all mats so will email you tomorrow

adjusting the headlights is very easy and the best non-cost mod you can do but you have to do it right

there used to be a thread with images but if you lift up the bonet and look vertically down at each light you will see an white adjuster head. It is plastic and can be turned with a philips head screw. Basically turn left for down, right for up or visa versa. All old memory too so screw might be black and metal. But anyway have a look and you'll see the adjuster mechanism.

Yeah as Stig so accurately described its one screw for up/down and another for left/right - they are down holes in the metal top cross member so don't try and do it in the dark - PITA!
Deffo wotrh it though, set mine too high initially and still didn't get cars flashing, unfortunately however just ended up lighting up the hedges and not the blacktop in front of me!
