hang on, axel back? Is this just the rear silencers and connectors or is it a full cat back?

As per thread title, I have sadly had to cancel an order for a pair of VXR8 magnaflow silencers from the UK distributor.

This company now has a set in stock and will supply the first set ordered for £425, normal RRP £600. http://www.nemesisuk.com

Adding further info in to this, here is a picture of the exhausts - stainless quad 3" tails.

These are a simple fit as they just replace the axle back section to provide a nice sound, its already well documented on here that the original exhaust is efficient but just lacks sound.

Having run without back boxes on my R8 (as a test) I doubt these would give most people the noise they are looking for, I think the secret is in shipping out the middle boxes and then fitting some nice rear boxes like you have shown here, not just rears alone, just IMHO wink

I tend to have to agree with this statement, I have a Monaro 6.0 VXR and was only happy with the sound untill I removed all of the 5 silencers fitted as standard and am now running just 2 smaller ones at the rear!!!!

Would've been interested in these myself, but looks like i've missed the boat frown

Have run my VXR8 with washers spacing out the rear muffler flanges just as a test, made a bit more noise but prob not enough for most peoples taste it seems

If and when you do get them could you post pic's & maybe sound clip?

Thks

wink Another point I just confirmed. Standard exhaust = 2.25 inch, this is a 3 inch pipe chances of their being a mis match problem? IS this the real reason you backed out benno?

I'll give these guys a call 2mor then to find out the situation regarding tube sizing

If all sounds ok smile looks like i may be the guinea pig for the fitment, unless someone else knows different

I can always get Hayward & Scott to get them to fit worse case, they've done a few exhausts for me in the past

thnks
