I don't know if this is widely known but if not, it may be useful to someone. I pressed 'Mode' and 'Set' together and it brought up a load of gubbins on the display. You cycle through them with 'mode'. It brought up a 'problem code' page. Don't know if it's the same as the fault code. Here's a Pic -

and another of the display check i suppose

Sorry if this is already known about.

Hmmmmm i couldn't get mine to do it, either with the ignition on or when the car was ticking over... Jimbo you were clearly driving when you tried yours, does this make a difference??? If so, then shame on you for fiddling with your knob while driving... hehe

Hiya Fella,

hehe You do the same sort of procedure as resetting the service stuff. Turn on ignition one click then press and hold "mode" and "set" together. The piccy with the needles up is kinda like a display test. It worried me to begin with coz all the display lit up and a buzzer went off. I thought i'd bust sumfink. Not sure what all these things do but it kept me amused for 20 seconds.
