Sounds good. Although im sure they will pick and choose which cars they will allow to enter.

Think they have taken the idea from Thunder Road itself!?

After what happened to some of the cars at the last one I have to question how wise it is to push them so hard.

I would be heartbroken if mine went bang after spending so long to get it right.

I think Stu Harris liked it then?

Bet this happens when I'm abroad.

Yawn. It wasn't exactly carnage. So many cars ran without any problems. Did you do all that work to then be afraid to push it?

A dropped valve and a loose balancer pully were the main culprits so I think its hardly fair to blame the Standing Mile for the woes.

Arn`t you the least bit interested to see what all your hard earned has bought you?

dont think the mile will push these engines to hard, even if you do do it 5/6 times . specialy with a soft launch !!

more likey if you have a problem on the day , it was somthing that was just waiting to happen at anytime ...IMO

I know there's little point having it if you aren't going to use it and I would love to see mine do the double ton. Does anyone know what was wrong with Harry's ?

Think I only did 5 runs in total, only 1 which I got excited on was a bit heavy on the launch but otherwise literally just drove off the line as if was setting off from a set of traffic lights.

Clutch was the main thing to be wary of on the day I think.

Dude as mentioned if cars go bust then it suggests something isnt right anyway.

Id be keen to run again.. hopefully now the clutch systems is working ok.
