I had problems getting a touch up pen for my red 04 cv8 monaro, vauxhall were out of stock and would be for a while. The only paint code i found was f143 red hot but i know other people have found different codes. The paint i got from paints4u was a spot on match.
Do you know what make of paint it was. Was it PPG, ICI, Standox?

Look for 687f Red Hot or Sting Red f143 as far as I know they are the same colour.
You sure? I reckon one code is for the metal and the other is for the plastic on my car, judging by the difference in shades.

No, that's why I stated " as far as I know" giving the op the 687f code, as he was looking at flame red (not a good match) yes it will differ on plastic to metal if not painted at the same time, conditions, etc, reds are difficult to match between stages on different materials at the best of times..
If I'm wrong then fecking

I run an accident repair centre in the south east, I assure you that Flame Red & Red Hot are nor the same colour, Sting Red & red Hot are though. As far as I know P.P.G. is the paint manufacturer that is used on all of our cars in australia. You should be able to go to any decent paint distibutor and your colour can be matched and mixed without much fuss, just one thing though red is the worst colour for U.V. breakdown, just be aware of this. My 2000 built Clubsport is finished in a solid colour where as the later vehicles that where exported are finished in a basecoat & clear system all f the E series commodores are definately the latter.
