Hi All,

My VXR8 is due its 20K miles service, I normally use Vauxhall in Burton but have heard they are expensive.

Has anyone used them for servicing and what's your experience?

Where abouts are you based? It may be cheaper to go to rapid gb or monkfish

Whilst its in warranty service it with Vauxhall, Pentagon Burton know the cars.
It will not be that much to service probably around £200.

Depends on the dealer. There is only one dealer here in Northern Ireland who is authorised to service the VXR8s and they are looking £320 for the 20k service.

I'm in the Midlands, may have meet you at the last Midlands Breakfast Club?

I will contact Vauxhall and find out what they want to charge me and let you know.

Got to get it done soon the service light is driving me mad.

Cheers for you comments

just turn it off. Can be done through the steering wheel controls. Full details are in your owners handbook.

the mileage is 20,900 and it was serviced when I purcased it at 14K so the question is do I leave it until I've done 10K from last service or do I get it done on the 20K service indicator to pull it back into sync??
