Sorry ARAF, I didn't want to turn the Wiki in to a thread. Was just being a bit cheeky.

I think it's a great idea. I didn't know there was a Wiki here until I saw your post, let alone know there were 3 other entries on it.

It looks like the Wiki set up is completely open to mistaken posts and will need some management. Maybe if half a dozen of us or more were to monitor it, have access to move entries to there appropriate places, it could become quite a "Knowledge Corner".

Blimey, for the combined knowledge of the people on this forum we could start Holden/HSV/LSx Europe, and probably be better than Vauxhall at sourcing and delivering parts, fitting, customer care, etc., without losing millions a year!

But that's why this forum is so good!

No I didn't delete anything , just added the comment after seeing this post.
Still think it's a good idea, just might need some active management. As you say, there are shortcomings to the current set up.

if you post a wiki thread via PH and then someone updates via hsv.org, the hsv.org system treats your update as a post and it all cocks up

I assume you posted via HSV org, and it wiped the Wiki I set up yesterday. I tried recovering it, from my internet history this morning, but alas I can't. We all live and learn.

It seems people liked what there was, so I'll make it a FAQ instead next time, and as other people add posts, I'll update the first post with the additional details.

I did post via hsv.org - and that buggered it all up did it?

Hope you manage to find a way - I think a wiki would be a great idea (as I said in the post that screwed it all up!!). Doh!
