Anyone know where the daylight sensor is located for the auto headlights?

I'm maybe being paranoid but mine popped on going into a multistorey carpark as normal but didnt go back off on the way out even though it was still relatively light outside. Cant test just now because the rain is that heavy its been dark all day.
Ive got them set on the most sensitive setting just now but they have been a PITA recently coming on and off everytime I go under trees or shaded areas. The normal setting i feel is too late in turning them on which is why I changed it.

Cheers

Mike

Is it the thing on the center front of the dashboard, right at the base of the windscreen ?

Could be but my last car had one of them and didnt have auto headlights, think it was for the climate control system.

Oh right cool I'll give it a go but I hope its fine seeing as its in such a lovely position to get at.

I guess shining a torch on it should work also seeing as were in constant darkness up here it seems.

Nice and sunny today so managed to test the lights and they worked ok. While out on the road they come back on and refused to go off so I set them to late sensitivity and so far so good.

Its pretty easy actually. there is time delay on it though, so if you went in and then out again quickly, it wont respond straight away.

One of those jobs is it? looks worse than it is.

I did notice the time delay one the lights going off after taking my hand off the sensor but when they stuck on afterwards I'd been sitting facing the sun at traffic lights hoping they'd go off.
