In August I had the throttle ( 5.7 Monaro )checked out and it was found to be defective, it kept sticking on and the car was awkward to drive around town.
One was ordered under warranty and I waited and waited for it to arrive. Lots of calls later to the dealer resulted in being told it will arrive in January.
A couple of calls to Vauxhall complaints department and the part arrived last week. The throttle was fitted today and the car is so much better.
So thank you Vauxhall and thanks to Sherwoods of Darlington for fitting. It took longer than expected but at least it's done.

Touch wood i have had nothing go wrong with the car sice i got it apart from when the dash is on lsd hippy But its been to rehad and all is cool

But Vauxhall can be a nitemare just for getting bits and dealers just no interested in helping you even if there part of the same chain of dealers. The dealer in Edinburgh is Belmont Vauxhall and the dealer in Aberdenn is Belmont Vauxhall. But you cant order an oil filter from Edinburgh, you have to order it from Aberdeen, How stupid is that.

Glad your car is sorted mate. Be better on fuel now biglaugh
