No tax or duty if you've owned the car for more than 12 months and have lived in the departure country for at least 6 months.
You will need LHD headlights (Pontiac GTO lights fit, some one on here was going to register a Monaro in Germany - Baz, was that you?) before your vehicle is inspected and if its inspected between September and May you will need winter/ice tyres fitted.
Swedish emissions regs are stricter than most of Europe, even Germany, so I would check that you can meet the emissions appropriate to your model year.
You'll need to fill in a declaration stating that the car is personal goods:
Form
and can get further information here
I note that your motor is stroked so would recommend you get in touch with the American Car Club of Sweden, in English unless your Swedish is fluent. They are a pretty good bunch, mostly mad and a lot speak very good English. They are also a good source for parts info for the Chevy engines.
Hope this helps and good luck
Thanks for that Trailermasher, must say a big thnks to all that have emailed me with advise and help, cant wait to blast my baby around Euro. Gen TT kit will have to wait for fit up till after rego. Am going on a road trip to UK so hope to meet up for track days and the such there. Cheers Lads
