Wrong road or wright road?

looking at options and forming a plan to mod my Monaro. looks like going down the cam route but there is a few questions i have before i get there.
1 Should i change headers and cat or can i get away with the stock cats?
2 Should i remove the maf or leave it on but i would like to use a otrcai filter.
3 Throttle body i would leave this alone and port it or may move up 2 a 80mm one just for the better throttle responce.
After i have this work done have the car remapped and see what it feels like, Then if i need MORE POWER i would then look at changing the cam and the engine train.
What iam asking for all you experts out there is is this a good road to take for moding the Monaro. If i do the 3 steps above will this give me a good base for the cam.
And Ringram looking to pull 400bhp rwhp Thats ma target no wanna be to gready.

also , think you will need cam done to get the extra power .
if all done at the same time you will save money ,not having to remap twice ...again ..IMO only
