Just bought a VXR8, previous owner has painted the callipers. Wondered if any one has any standard red ones for sale or swap? If so please reply. Many thanks

Thanks guys just thought it would be easier to just get someone to swap the calipers over, got a mate who is a sprayer so will ask him.

I think that the standard finish on the calipers is shyte. A lot of Porsche owners paint their black calipers red (like the 's' has) with hamerite smooth. Very glossy, and does exactly what it says on the tin. smile

Does any one know the particular code/shade as I am looking at refurbing mine too. Think someone may have used little too strong chemicals on them. Also where I should start looking to get the replacement decals? Is it something a dealer may stock, or do they just come on the caliper?
