VXR8 key entry?

VXR8 hasnt been moved for three weeks and the battery is dead.

Am I right that manual key entry is on the passenger side?

I did first(of course)try the drivers side, but found the trick now, it was just battery too dead to operate central locking.

Problem with passenger door was I couldnt reach it as it was too close to garage wall, so relieved I was wrong !!

All sorted now anyway.

A combination of work, and a short holiday means this isnt a frequent event.... managed over 5k miles in 4 months, but was certainly missing it after 3 weeks....

Dont know what the BCM update is, so I guess the answer is not. What do I need to know?

BCM contains, amongst other things, the battery charging strategy.

Is that a known upgrade or warranty item?

I am probably being dumb, but I am having one of those days anyway.....
