my boss drove into my pride and joy tonight cry cry

looks like i will need a new bumper and light cluster weeping

it's pitch dark so will have to have a good look at it in the morning.

to be fair he is absolutely gutted that he hit it ( he loves my car), his car has a small scratch on it.

he was reversing his car out of the underground carpark where he stays, there is a steep incline when you come out.
i cant get my car in the carpark as my car grounds its that steep.
my car was at the top, his girlfriend had just given something to me which i had just put in my boot.got to the
drivers door, all i heard was crunch yikes . because of the angle of the slop he did not see my car
he usually turns the car around in the carpark before comming out, but for some reason he decided just to reverse it out.
probably my own stupid fault aswell for stopping the car there, but it could of been alot worse. if he was 10 seconds earlyer
i would have been at the back of my car.

does anybody know a rough price for a rear bumper for a vxr8. depending on price he is just going to pay cash rather than
put it through his insurance.

Hold it, you need a new bumper and light cluster, his car has a small scratch.
Was he driving a JCB or a small armoured car?

Sorry about that, you must be gutted, i would have been
All i can suggest is that you get a quote from a VX dealer. Its going to be really expensive so he'd probably be better off going through insurance. Hope you get it sorted

yes i am really gutted about itcry, but accidents happen.

i'm just mad at myself for 1) stopping my car where i did and 2) not telling him the first time he stopped
that my car was at the top. just didn't think.

taking it to vauxhall on monday

Yeah I have one but some bloke up north got it for £90.
You could try him. Let me know if you want his details.
Its not perfect, but its got no dents etc, just a couple of little scratches etc.

I'd imagine that that will push out and only require light prep before respray. Check it out at a coach works, not the dealer, first and tell them it is you that are paying or they will assume its insurance. You will get a much better price

You could be right, assuming no damage has being done to the rail underneath.

Also, get someone to check the exhaust system out (if that took any impact) And from your pics you have reverse sensors? I'd replace the once sensor in the damaged area.
