Im thinking of getting CNC L92 heads and cam for my LS2...
Discussion
Hi all,
After a embarrassing
day on the rollers yesterday im thinking of fitting some CNC L92 heads and a cam to my LS2.
Can anyone see a problem there? if i fit these parts with my 112 TWR SC?
After its all done ill leave the laptop and tech stuff to roger for the mapping
Im going to do the work myself to save the labour.
Thanks again Jez and Sophie for the food and drink

Good package and will make useful gains with your combo utilising the standard 70cc heads. If emissions is a must for you, look at a 224/232/114 +4* ground in, and a set of comp 918 springs to suit. You can buy the H/C package from Summit to include the off - set intake rockers you will also need with those heads. I'm also pretty sure you will need some longer push rods as well so there is an excuse to spend a little more dosh on a set of Chrome moly items. You can choose your cam with the package.
ETA: Another senior moment. L92's won't work with this blower, sorry. Still with what you've got, loose the blower and install the above for a massive improvement!!!
However, before doing all that, I'd be wanting to know why you had that disappointing result first. After all you have all the right bits there Mate.Probably something silly as it usually is.

She only made 338 but it should have hit the 400 mark. And thats with a full system, 100 cell cats and 112
I had her on the rollers about 3 months ago and she only made 330 then but the guy did show me the SC was running at 6psi
Maybe its just the bad and very safe engine map that Walkingshaw did when they fitted the SC last year.
Im still scratching my head over the result.

Ive got a full system and sport cats. I will give Walkinshaw a call in the morning and see what they have to say.

Very curious then as to why its down on power, im sure it will be a simple solution!
Got all the right bits so the power should be joining in aswell

I have only just got off the motorway and had about a 20min wait before it went on the rollers. I did put my hand on the supercharger just before it went in and it was very hot as it had got hot from standing there while not running. Roger said it could have been the heat.
One of the other sc guys i think it was J.J did 8hp less than me, but after his run i put my hand on his SC and it was almost cold.
I think he was scratching his head more than me lol
Most SC stuff that was down Charlie thought might have been slipping belts. One case looked exactly like that.
One was maybe down to dodgy timing, but without logging the tune while it ran etc it would be hard to day.
I had my logging tool there, but forgot to offer it to people to use for taking a log of their run.
Ill remember next time.

I think mine was the one with the dodgy timing, maybe if you have some free time this week i could pop over to you and we could take it for a spin with it plugged in. I might even invest in one myself.
