I want to get my wheels refurbed and just wondered if anyone has a set of wheels and tyres I can borrow for a week, it will not be driven while your wheels are on the car.

I tried today to get the car jacked up on stands and its not as easy as you think, so of set of wheels would make life so much easier, I am in Rochester Kent and can collect and return.

I can lend you a set of 17" BMW wheels, if they will clear your calipers. They're the correct stud pattern.

They should certainly be fine on the back, then you only have the front to worry about.

Hi Araf, do they have tyres on them? as I am not going to drive the car perhaps I can space the wheels away from the calipers, what you think

Yes. You can use my wheels with slicks on, as I don't think they will be used for a while.

I'll e-mail you my telephone number...

Sure am. Looking forward to it too. A nice run out with my new headers.

I will be able to check out your new wheels then. Are you gonna have the leaf blowers changed by then? hehe

Nevefr had the old exhaust. Since I bought it it had the Wortec cat back. I just added the headers and the high flow cats. I ditched the old cats at Monkfish. Roger said they will pass the OT without them when I asked. As they do my MOTS, I was happy to take their advice. At least I know it won't fail on emissions

Feels faster and sounds a lot more aggresive under throttle. I love it. Sounds like a proper race car now driving

I got to drive Sam's car today and I followed my own car to Mark's pub. My god it sounds nice.....even though it was a bit weird following my own car lol.

I guess that would be what it's like to chase someone whose stoen your car rofl

Completely different drive. For one, the steering on the VXR8's is very tight and responsive. It makes the Ro feel a lot more sloppy by comparison. Very nice drive indeed. It goes very well too. I would have one if I could afford it. I do love my Ro though.

Maybe the Ros have got a bit saggy with age. I'm sure they could be made a lot better.
