CV8 battery replacement

Can someone confirm before I head of to VX this morning to get a new battery if I'm going to need any codes to be re-entered before able to drive, use radio etc?

Thanks for that. Just found the note in the manual '...should there be an interruption to the power supply, the settings to each key may be lost (instrument illumination level, climate control settings, radio settings etc). Your adjustments will be stored the next time you adjust the feature.'

i have never had that issue and i have had my battery off / out a number of times..

Same as above never had any issues and the battery has been off/out many times!

I always connect a small 12v battery to the leads before I disconnect the ones from the battery, just make sure you have doors shut and nothing on, or the little battery will go flat in a milisecond lol

I usually leave my trickle charger connected to the leads.
