Hi - I'm thinking of getting into TVR ownership, starting with a Sagaris, (or maybe a T350 if I can't find a Sagaris). There's quite a bit of information on here, is there anywhere else I could look that would be helpful?

Also where are the best places to look for cars for sale other than on Pistonheads? If anyone is thinking of selling their car then please drop me a pm.

Thanks

Pistonheads is you best place for Sales.
There is also TVR Mart http://www.tvr-webmart.co.uk/tvr_list_cars.asp?mod... which also lists Sags, but is not as comprehensive

The queue is long, the cars are few. Be prepared to pay a premium, have cash ready and be very quick off the mark. You will need the ready's to beat every TVR garage in Britain to the punch! Good luck though! yes

Hexam Horesless carriages have a sag for sale, they don't advertise on PH so always best to look at their website now and again to see what stock they have

i may consider selling mine just had major service waxoil tappets de-cat etc at dulfords cost 2k is now at surface and design having full respray due to me being ultra fussy (nightire red met) and front end paintshield this bill will be approx 5-6k alone the car has done 5000miles only from new and was 1 owner when i bought it with fsh i have also had fitted a momo trek r steering wheel the car is pristine throughout i have just bought a noble m400 so may sell the sagaris but not to bothered will keep both as these 2 cars in my opinion will/are ultra rare and will appreciate in value the sagaris is a 2006 car so one of the later ones and is awesome!!

I went to look at Rob's Starmist Sag, very nice, tidy looked after car... but I wanted something more unusual so went for the Cascade one....

You won't be disappointed that's for sure when you get one !

Good Luck.

Thanks for all the replies, I have now seen a couple of cars (including Rob's - which is now sold I believe, leaving the country unfortunately) but still without one. If there are any others which you may know of, please drop me a private message/email...

There are a few at Racing Green - at a premium, but you know it will be on the button.

I got mine from here, and then the engine from there as well. You get what you pay for, but yes, the price stings.

We moaned about the prices and what else you could get for your money for 12 months while they went up another £5K-10K (smart cookie)...

Then we managed to buy a nice unmoletested car at what now seems like a bargain smile

I was in the same situation this time last year, so I placed a wanted ad in the classifieds on here, I only got one reply, but that was enough. I picked mine up on the 1st of May last year! smile

I also know another member on here sent emails to the owners listed in the register. He also got lucky!
