Toyo Proxes T1 Sport

Toyo Proxes T1 Sport 255 / 35 / ZR18.

Just bought a pair of these rears for my T350.

Apparently theys have replaced the T1 R's.

Anyone else had them fitted and any thoughts?

Just had some fitted to my Tuscan. Had always run the T1R in the 60k I've put on the car and loved the way the T1R felt under-foot as it were.

Not yet convinced by the new tyre, seems a lot more skittish on the rear and may even be feeling like its tramming a bit. Only done a few dozen miles on them and hoping they may feel better once scrubbed a bit. How have you found them?

Found them ok so far Mike, but I'm same as you and only done maybe 50 miles on them.

I'm surprised we havent had more responses to this thread so far, bit I'm off to Le Mans soon so will have more feedback then.

They need 3/4/500 miles bedding in/scrubbing, then they're fine and good in the wet too !

Had some T1-R's fitted last week. Must have just got in in time

Have had T1 Sports or the rear of my Chim for almost a year now (first batch, straight from Toyo NL's HQ as I needed new rears badly and my options were limited). Haven't got any complaints, I think my strategy of keeping the S03PPs st the front to provide a bit of precision and turn-in response, and the similar profile, but softer and more progressive Toyos on the rear sort of works even though its born out of necessity...

Sorry to jump this thread, I'm selling my full set of Proxes T1-Rs (stock 18" Spider fitment)...what are they worth? long story but I've ended up buying a set of Proxes R1R's and they're a bit 'expensive' so I need to recoup some money!

There is not a bad discount on R1-R's if you are a TVR club member, think its with Camskill IIRC
