Hello chaps,

I've just ordered a brand new set of 18" Spiders alloys and Toyos T1S tyres for a Tamora.

A/ Is there any issues with fittment that I should be aware of or is it a straight forward job?

B/ Is there anyone out there after a set of standard wheels?

Thanks,

Ed

Wheels fit no problem but the front/rear is a different offset on the Tamora. Depending on how wide you have gone on the tyre it might rub a little.

Where did you get T1-S Toyo's from? IIRC they don't make them anymore Its T1-R or R1-R dependant on cost.

On the later T-Cars yes. Early Tams were 16". It was a £1500 option for the 18" version of the spider

The tyres are from mytyres.co.uk

I was told that the T1 Sport had replaced the T1R's by several firms?

Anyway, sure they will be fine. Paid £446.50+VAT for them delivered which I thought was quite good.

I've just bought a Tamora for stock and although it does drive really well on the 16's, the Spiders just make it look superb, especially in Estoril blue.

Wheels are TVR originals, brand new so should finish the car off a treat.

You might be correct, Camskill still list both T1-R &the sport version, T1-S must have been the first version. The Sport & T1-R have totally different tread pattern, be interesting to see if they are any better or drive the same as the T1-R.

Whilst the spiders look good you need to watch the pot holes, they bend very easy compared to other wheels that people put on their cars such as the SP12's
