Ready to make the jump!!

Right, here I am, ready to get the car ive lusted after for too long.
Friends with 997 911, an RS6, and an s4 means my diesel company motor isnt cutting the mustard.
Anyway, i went down to see a T350 last night, bergundy one for sale on here, and wondered if anyone on here had owned it? It was bought by the current owner in Nov 2010.
The reg is HX53 RXR
Cheers!

1. Buy on condition and history.
2. When you buy a car at the cheap end of the market do not expect it to be as cheap to keep on the road as one 6k more expensive. Often there is a purchse price difference for a reason.
3. Nothing wrong with buying privately too, but unless you know what you're looking at, get your prosective purchase checked checked by a specialist BEFORE parting with the readies. Don't give your mates a chance to laugh at TVR reliability (or lack of) by buying a shed.

Cheers guys.
Yeah that is the one I looked at. I didnt know who RYE motors were either, and wouldnt be parting with cash until it had been inspected. I do have a little more in the pot so dont have to go down the lowest priced car route. However, Ive seen a few now and it did look pretty good. It was a used one and not concourse, with a few stone chips etc but all in all pretty good. The analogue speedo wasnt working on it though, but the digital bit was. Strange as he said it was a vacuum gauge because it moved a fraction on full throttle! Give over, mustve thought id just come off a spaceship!
Anyway, Hexham Horseless are getting one in soon, that they supplied new and have looked after since, so im going to have a look at that one. Id rather buy one from a dealer.
Also, just to mention, he is selling it as his missus is being made redundant. As hes got a few toys, this is the one hes deciding to sell.

I put the reg number he gave me in the HPI database and it come back as no details kept. Is that because it has a private plate on? I thought it would still come back as plate change etc.
Never mind, im not interested in it now, Im wondering if the one at trackvroad is still available, the heading is quite confusing! Looks good for 17995.
