Low speed hunting

Fine at idle but hunting for revs in 4th or 3rd around town and 1800 rpm. Any ideas before I ask Dom to add it to the list?

How is you alernator charging..I have a similar issue and the voltage levels are everywhere and the lights flicker...

Seemed to be okay at 13.4v on the batery dropping to about 12 under load, but I did notice an occasional flicker of the headlamps last week (doesn't get out at night much) so will have another look.

Checked today - battery 12.4 on start, 13.6 whilst driving so looks like alternator is doing fine.

It could be that the throttle bodies need balancing. Mine were reading all over the place when I got it back from an engine rebuild from the factory, I checked the air intake of each body and once I had balanced them up I could use 5th gear at 30mph.

Probably - it's just that given they were done last September and the car stood on stands until April, I'm surprised they need to be done again so soon...

I would not conclude that the alternator is fine from these readings unless you know much more about this subject..?

My alternator is also charging, but the point is, that the voltage is not being 'regulated' and is fluctuating from a high to low reading..which confuses the CPU..

I am not sure how much voltage fluctuation is normal..can anybody help on this?

Voltage is holding steady on the move, but it is odd that the headlights were flickering.
