T350 Front Brake Pads
Discussion
I'm looking for the part number for Front Brake pads on the T350c. I went to a motor factor where he looked up the AP & Mintex books he also phoned around but no one knows the part number. Also neither Tamora or T350 is mentioned in their books. Does anyone have the part number and grade of pad required?
TVRs are notorious for using components that look like standard parts but aren't. Just because you see a part number doesn't always mean you can go down your local motorfactors for a replacement. Unless you're *really* confident, you're better off buying through a TVR specialist/dealer. (Same goes for servicing of course.) I find they're usually good on price as well as ensuring that you get exactly the right part.
Getting back to this one.
I was looking for new pads because the car was starting to pull to the O/S at high speed. I found that the Pads were starting to break up due to heat from track day use. The ones now fitted are from a Seat Cupra R, £15 +vat, TVR £150. The £15 have been on now for 3 track days and are working perfect. And the milage is now 10k.

Subsequent to my earlier posting, I've upgraded to RR spec discs front and rear. Front pads fitted were SBS carbon ceramic, and they seemed to perform well at its first track day at Oulton. Rears fitted were Pagid fast road and I suspect they'll be getting binned in favour of the SBS as fitted to the front.

Dookie - which Cupra model is this? The Leon? (is that the only Cupra R?). I'm interested in getting some getter pads for mine

So these would fit the standard T350c discs then?
Any chance of a part number please?
