new toy,deposit paid
Discussion
i was having my usual browse through the tvr classifieds yesterday morning when i saw this menacing looking machine http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2867184.htm
been looking for a t350 for a while now & this is the first one that really ticks most of the boxes for me,so i called them up & had a chat with martin.
there was no way i could get up to see the car much before next weekend,& was sure it would be sold before i got there,so i thought sod it!& put down a deposit over the phone,he who dares wins etc.
i cant wait to drive it for the first time, although it wont be ready for a couple of weeks,& i`ll have a nice long drive back to exmouth to get acquaianted with it.
happy to be part of the fold.

yeah, ive been swotting up on everything t350 related, will be following the warm up procedure, checking fluid levels before every drive, gonna get a battery conditioner as well, have even had a look on the bodywork & detailing forum,so i will now be using the 2 bucket method,& have bought clay bars, lambswool mitts etc.

Once you get to know the car and what it uses/how it feels, smells, sounds, you probably won't need to check the levels every time. I certainly don't.obikaii said:
thanks matt, lovey looking sagaris you have.was tempted to keep saving & get a sagaris, but i just couldnt wait another year for my first tvr fix, although i will buy one in a couple of years time, maybe wait for one of doms 4.5's to come on the market.
how long have you had the sag?
Thanks for the compliment. Only got it in January but had a Tuscan, tamora and chim before. They have all been exciting to own :-)how long have you had the sag?
yeah,im driving up to get it on saturday, renting a car & leaving at about 5:30 am so i get to the garage when it opens, that gives me all day to get home, starting to get excited now.
think ive got alot of car for the money, bit of a gamble putting a deposit down over the phone, but ive spoken to the lads a bespoke & they have put me totally at ease, the car has been lavished with what ever it needed & then some, the engine didnt need rebuilding he just wanted to upgrade it to a 4l,gonna take a while to get use to that, coming from a e46 M3 which was quick, but the new toy will kick its ass.
its currently having its 12000 mile service & a new lcd dash fitted, also trying to get the owner to leave in his hideaway sat nav/stereo.
hurry up saturday!!!!!

thanks for the advice aubrey, ive bought a load of detailing stuff, havnt decided on what wax to use yet,a mate of mine can get autoglym products at cost,so i may try their wax, plus ive got a couple of bottles of ultra deep shine polish left,my previous car was carbon black, but i will give the poorboys a go as well, seems to be a lot of different opinions on which products are best.
just got an email with regards to the i.c.e,gonna cost me £300 if i want it,its a pioneer avic x1,anyone know if its any good?

I have the AVIC X1 BT (model above)it cost me £500 new with ipod connector, mic and remote, £300 sounds a bit steep I would offer £250
I would agree, mine is coming with the x1 BT fitted and if they had asked me to pay an extra £300 for it I would passed. The unit is good ( I had it in my audi tt) but is very old nowGassing Station | Tamora, T350 & Sagaris | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
