Suddenly stopped working today, out of the blue. Fuse is fine, solenoid not firing at all.
I read on one thread about removing a door ecu as a first port of call, anyone advise on this?
Thanks. smile

Have you fully explored the badge/switch mechanism first?
I found this to be the easiest place to start - and was ‘lucky’ enough to have a dead switch.

From the 'cubby hole' on the back-side of the boot, you're able to grab the wire coming out of the switch, running to the Solenoid. Pull this through to the boot (there should be plenty) ~10" along the wire is a connector - unplug this to isolate the switch and get a voltage tester across the exposed pins and see if you get a circuit when the badge is depressed. If so, then move onto the Solenoid/ECU. If not (as was the case with mine), investigate the back of the badge is making good contact with the switch and that the switch is actually working etc...

I found my switch had died - I assume corroded internally.
SonnyLad on here kindly sorted me out with a new one (although I think that was his last)
