Hi Guys,
Had a great day yesterday! Picked up my P & J from Track V Road after it's service MOT plus a few other bits and pieces. As usual, Richard, Craig and the team had done a fantastic job and the car looked superb. So we decided to take the long way back to Staffordshire, so first stop was Hawes via Settle and Ingleton. Great weather and some cracking roads. After filling up with cheese at Hawes we fancied an ice cream, so went over the Buttertubs road to Reeth. Now having forgot that yesterday was the last day of the Swaledale festival, parking was a challenge. We eventually found a space but the heavens opened. I can assure you, North Yorkshire does not have to worry about being a drought county! The rain finally stop ped long enough for us to have our ice cream, before we started back via Leyburn, Leeming and then A1, M1, A38 and finally A50. Again, the weather was brilliant, the car performed great and it was a really good driving day.
Now, the weather is good at the moment, I wonder if I have time to head over to the Peak district for breakfast?
