Tamora Help Please:SP12's v spiders

Hi all

Are the rear wheels wider on the SP12's (think they are)than the rear spiders?? Reason for asking I'm looking to purchase a set of 265x35x18 TR1-R for the rears and I was wondered if they fit the standard Spiders

SP12s or Pro Race 1.2s are 8in front, 9in rear. Spiders are 8.5 all round

Hi Buzz, yes the will fit, Barry runs them on his Tamora, he has SP12's fitted.

Did you get on OK putting the HID kit in? sent you the details on how I fitted mine, and the slight niggles I had.

I know Barry really well he's an old WSCC buddy of mine we've done the USA and le-Mans together but I just can't get a hold of him at the moment I know his Mrs is due to give birth so I guess he's tighted up with that. I made a Mistake on the size its actually 265x35.18 and I was wondering if they'd fit on a spider rather than the SP12's(which I know they fit)

I didn't fit the HID kit, I had quite a poor response from the request for info.I didn't receive any info from you though. Could you possibly send the detail to [e-mail] That would be really great

I rang you Tuesday ya bugger & you never answered

Nana's has the 265's I stuck with the 255's as I thought the stretched look of the 265 looked naff.

They were also on my Spiders before I fitted the SP12's

Hi guys

Got sorted with Matt Seabrook (Tyre dealer)off the WSCC said that the 255 is max on 8.5 rim he also recommended going with 245, however spoke to one of my former collegues at Pirelli and he said 255's will be fine
