http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2851275.htm

It was shown as sold, now it's back for sale and at a higher price. Anybody know why?

Are you sure it's a higher price? I thought it was the same.

Any number of things could have happened, maybe someone put a deposit down but couldn't get the cash?

How about calling and asking, rather than drawing attention to it on the net?

Let's see, they could have withdrawn it to do some work on it maybe? (It could be like the airlines and DVLA sites - if you show interest in seats or plates respectively, go back the following day, they have increased in price due to interest).

Seriously - ask them. rolleyes After all, they are a business, and in the habit of making money.

What's with the roll eyes? Seems like a sensible suggestion to me. Call them and ask. I know RG have been accused of over pricing before but I am sure there must be a reasonable explanation.

The reason behind the question was purely for info that might be found on here that the dealer would not be inclined to tell a possible punter.

I'm sure I remember them having a beautiful (i think it was a kinda of orange/red) T350 at well over 20K a few months back and quite a few were on here were interested. Then someone posted a link showing it with the front end missing from a pretty bad smack. Not a word on the advert as would be expected if not registered, (They possibly didn't know about the damage themselves) but also top money.
Well rebuilt or not, but for that kind of money I'd prefere an honest stonechiped and unrebuilt one.

So I was interested to know for instance did anybody know any previous history of this car, for example ... previous crash damage and found it out through an independant inspection etc etc; and maybe that had been a reason why the car was sold and now is back on for sale.

I didn't need a reply like I received, it was a waste of energy. I'm old enough and wise enough methinks to ring them and ask the simple stuff.

Yea understand what ya say, but hey if ya want a car with back up, warranty and looked after for a year with them on the end of a fone of it all goes wrong then yes pay a good price for car! Buy a cheaper one from a none rep garage or private and run the risk i reckon. Just my opinion tho!

Still love you all!!
