Morning TVR Brethren.

I want to make a set of jump leads up in case I get cought short in the Tamora.

Having had a search online there appear to be a few varients of the Anderson connector.

Would the following do the job?

Yes, I used the 175A connector on mine. You need some beefy crimpers or a blow lamp and solder to make the terminals off.

Are you also replacing or changing the location of the Anderson jump lead on the car?
While your making some leads up I would strongly recommend that you do.
I only ask as I've had to replace mine twice now. (54 T350c)
The first time I replaced the plug and leads back to the battery along with the 2 water proof covers, they only lasted a couple of years before the leads started to corrode very badly again.
The second time I relocated mine to the engine bay and attached it to the inner wing.

Neither, the plug on the car is brand new as I had it replaced when in for a service earlier in the year.

I'm making a set of jump leads to take away on a road trip.

Targ' - thanks for the link, I have a set of spare leads so thought I'd knock them up myself.

Whatever you do make sure they are long enough. I bought a made up set from Racetech and they are only just long enough to reach the battery on my golf if i park it an inch away from My T350. I ended up making an extention leads from a heavy duty set of leads and a couple of battery connector cables. I can now jump start the car without having to push it out if the garage.
