Hello All,

Under hard acceleration (foot right to the floor) - windscreen washer fluid/water comes out of the holes on the passenger side tube attached to the wiper and 'splats' of the windscreen.

Anybody else had this?? Any ideas on how to fix

Thanks a lot in advance

TADTS.

Put a non return valve in the tube near the wiper to fix it. You'll need 2x and you can buy them from Halfords.

Thanks for the advice gents.

Gone and got myself a non-return valve but either I'm doing something wrong or its actually a non-return and non-get there valve!! i.e. I can't get a flow in either direction!!

I've put it in the tube (both ways) and the water won't pass through. Took it out, can't blow air through in either direction. Took it back to halfords - all their others are the same - I can't blow air through from either direction. Here is a picture of the little blighter - any hints on what I'm doing wrong!!! Thanks

Hmm, can't post a pic of mine until tomorrow night, but they are the same part from Halfords.

Sounds like you have only fitted one in the passenger side?

You will need to fit both of them so they get equal pressure. IIRC the white side goes towards the bottle and the black towards the wiper.

Fit the drivers side one in the tube above the wiper mounting plate after the pipe 'T' and the passenger one near the end under the wiper arm in the engine bay.

Hope that helps.

Cheers. Lee.

Yes, that was the problem - needed to put the other one in to even up the pressure. Thanks a lot (BTW - blackend nearest washer bottle!!)

Cheers again all
