Finally got some time to myself this afternoon and had my 1st ever drive in my new T350.
Love the car to bits, what a real sense of occasion even the 1st 4 miles which must be the worst bit of the road in the country.!!!
Loved the sound of the speed six, and the general easy nature of driving the thing. Did about 45 miles or so, and once warmed up managed a few "squirts" on occasional open roads. Performance seems "adequate" and high speed stability on my private bit of race track was very assured, much more so than my Griff felt......
One thing i noticed is that my oil temp never got higher than about 70C...any thoughts on that anyone??

In the main, very happy with the car indeed.

Sandy.

I think 70oC is probably about right; I think that's what I see roughly. The experts will be along to tell you exactly where the oil temp sensor is but it is only a surrogate for ACTUAL oil temp and at speed when air is moving over the engine the reading drops. In winter it may never get high enough to safely open her up.

ive been keeping a close eye on mine since i got it,& it rarely gets over 70c,only if ive done loads of miles then sit in traffic not moving for a few minutes.
i had a wolverine engine oil heater fitted a few weeks ago, great bit of kit, switch it on about 60-90 minutes before a drive & it gets the oil up to 80c,which,once you start the engine drops to between 30-40c,means less engine wear etc,& you get to drive it properly sooner than normal, all for £65 plus fitting, bargain!

Had a couple of viewings, one guy was very interested but decided to buy one from a dealer, and the other is now on holiday!

Dropped the price now, but that's it - if no interest will put it into storage!

hi sandy,go to www.wolverineheater.com
there are a few different models,you want model 16 250watts-csa/ce certified $71
if you`re inclined they look fairly easy to fit, mine was going in to dulfords to have a few things done anyway,so i got them to fit it,cost £40,well worth it even in the summer, but essential if you want to drive it in the winter months imho.
even thinking of getting a tubular heater to put under the engine on the garage floor to warm the whole area up even more before a drive,i think others on here do something similar, gonna get a timer so i dont leave them on to long.
