Just fitted my CliveF modified Sagaris rear silencer, and de-catted at the same time, and the result is absolutely excellent. Completely gone is that raspy, tinny sound, replaced by a throaty, deep, bassy sound. Much, much better cruising on the motorway, minimal drone/resonance, but BOY does it come alive under acceleration, which I can only describe as more like a roar and even a howl past 5000 RPM.

Pops and bangs galore too - I just lurrrrrrrrve it ! biggrin

Clive - excellent job. Well done. Thanks ! thumbup

P.S. tested it out on the new Hindhead/A3 tunnel - get yourself up and down that a few times boys - it's a great tunnel. hehe

RS66 - fancy a back to back one night with a video camera? I'm about to do the mod myself, but it'll be good to have that sort of thing/ I'm 10 mins from the tunnel.... smile

Good news Mike, glad you are happy with the changes. Makes those scrapped knuckles all worth whilehehe
Picking mine up from service/fitting of decats this afternoon, so fingers crossed for the desired resultbiggrin
It now has Power`s decats/clive`s modded back box and with clive`s larger slash cut end cansthumbup Spoke to my mechanic last night, and he said that it sounded good when he was out on test drive.
Hopefully catch up with you at Donington on sunday.

What sort of price does this cost, already decatted so would be looking at larger slash cuts and maybe moddified back box, may have to pop up to donny on sunday

Clive, next time ur on the mainland heading East, make sure you take a detour via the A3 Hindhead tunnel to give ur exhaust a real ear-popping test.... There's a 70mph average speed limit camera system through the tunnel, but 2nd and 3rd can be exploited, and it's definitely worth it !!

hehe

Once again, thanks for the mod - end result is brill, but I think it's a little over 98DB - maybe I might just squeeze in a 105DB track day without the need for the Track Day silencers (as I'm skint at the mo!)

himike, will be a while before I`ll be venturing over to the big island I`m afraid, last weekend was the first in 4 weeks that I`d spent at home/workhehe

the hindhead tunnel is definately on my to do list, as for trackday silencers I might have another option for these shortly, watch this space.
