From what I've seen, only on track are they that low.

I can't get 888's in my dimensions - I have T1-R's, and road is 33, track around 28.

888's have flexible sidewalls thats why they grip so well , have them one my 7 , trouble is they are going to be made illegal for road use so may need to switch to Ao48's which are similar in construction.

I run mine at 24/22 or slightly lower on track as the real temp at the end of a hard session will go above 30!

What's that about becoming illegeal?

Was discussed on the seven club site , I think I will ring the people I got my last triple 8's from to find out exactly whats happening . Don't see how they can do this without a lead in time.

33psi for road use.. that's a bit high for a 1100kg car isn't it ???

It's what it came with from the dealers, so I was happy with that. It's done them and myself no harm!

As for the illegality of trackday tyres on the road, it's something that was being touted by law-makers two years ago (I think), but have heard nothing else. EVO/Octane said they would keep us informed on it also, but nothing else has come of that, from what I can remember.

Toyo suggest the R888 tyre should not see more than 29-30psi (that would be hot).

I run my griff 500 at 22PSi for sprints - that seems to give the best grip on track
