Need to get some fettling done on my t350 along with getting the racing red suspension set up properly. It's awful at the moment bottoming out and generally handing horribly. There are also some other areas which need TLC but cant decide who to send it too. Narrowed it down to Hexham or Trackvroad in the north or if worth it down to str8six

I know all these companies are highly regarded but are any of them more 'track' biased than others. Plan is to get the car fighting fit for two track days at knock hill at end of September

I was going to suggest Mick Gardner Racing at Barnsley but then saw from his website that he appears to be mainly Ohlins.

If its bottoming out it'll will either need raising up or stiffer springs or both. From my expierences of a T350 over bumpy northern roads you need significantly stiffer than factory and springs approaching or at Sagaris rates seem to be needed to avoid the worst. Even at those rates too low a ride hieght will still cause bottoming.
PS TVR Selby maybe able to sort the adjustments.
PPS fullfat Nitrons for T350's usually come fitted with sagaris rate springs as default but I havent seen what the Reds were fitted with.

Track v Road. Ian is a wizard at geo set up. He's a racer too so understands suspension set up better than most. He transformed my Tuscan and has worked on my Nitron shod Sag. Easy drive down the M6 for you too!

I called a few places today including dreadnoughts in scotland. But as soon as i spoke to Track V Road i knew that is were the car is going to go. It was Ian i spoke to and he could not have been more helpful and took ages to talk through things. Actually excited about sending car to them to give it a thorough going over as they get such good reviews and Ian was great on the phone.

+1 for TrackVRoad - Ian is former British Champion in some Lotus series or other (can't remember exactly) and still races today (2nd and 3rd in two races at Brands Hatch last week) - so he knows what he's doing and they're a great bunch of guys.

No queue jumping tho - I want my Sag back in plenty of time for my first track day ! biggrin

Well just on the train back to Glasgow after dropping my car off with Richard and Iain at track v road. They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, they are clearly very busy and have a fantastic set up.

Looking forward to seeing the finished results when I pick the car back up.

Yep they're top guys they'll do a good job and get the car sorted ready for hooning around Jockhill. I've done a few WSCC Speed Series events up there in the Westfield SEiGHT and I have to say it was pretty good. Its like Brands Hatch indie for men!!

I'll look out for it tomorrow when I pick my Tuscan up.

They're good guys at T v R & know their stuff. I think they also look after a car in the Tuscan Challenge (or at least they used to.

Please do, spoke to richard this week and sounds great the work they are doing on it. Can't sing there praises highly enough. There a few other things I hope they can do to it before I pick it up
