Bought this last month after much deliberation, have to say after this evenings test run will be a much loved garage gadget...

Ive been looking at these drive up renovation ramps,but this looks as good.my option comes in at about a grandsmile

If the base was wider than the car then fair enough but that looks quite scarey :-(. Lovely car though.

safer than it looks gents, floor has to be good though. i probably wouldnt try to take off a hub nut perhaps but for most jobs its perfectly safe
There is a locking mechanism and it can be used at any height from floor to top lift.
For lowish cars like Tiv's you need to lay lengths of wood on the floor, mine will be nailed permenantly in position and the car will be parked on them always with lift stored underneath..simples.

Sandy, can you give us a pic of the jacking table on its own? Interested to see how much access there is through it. And I can see that a rough concrete surface wouldn't allow the roller wheels to work properly with the scissor action...
Nice gadget though.

Fair enough, as long as you don't do anything too heavy duty on it. We have something similar but more stable, but I guess vastly more expensive too... I'll get pics this weekend. It's great having decent access underneath, ours is sort of opposite - we have full access to the centre of the car. smile
