Sun Visors - Tightening Hinges

Anyone else suffer from the hinges in the sun-visors going weak? I'm guessing its on a hinge which can be either tightened or replaced, anyone got any links to a DIY or advice?

It can be tightened yes, there is a removable centre section bit on ours where it looks like there should be an interior light, but there isnt...

It soon comes loose again though, so I believe dad has fitted a threaded rod through and put a locking nut on to keep the thing tight!! You could also just remove them, on ours the tinted part of the screen is all that it covers anyway. Welcome to TVR ownership...
