Can anyone confirm if the dash of the Tamora / T350 actually has any built in warnings? How do they actually display? I've recently had 'System Error 128: Coolant Sensor' is that telling me my physical coolant temperature is high, or is that telling me the second sensor that relays information to the dash regarding coolant temperature is faulty?

Sensor gives warning at approx 134degC at 2k ohms
-12degC at 0k ohms

Works on resistance, so if poor earth/corroded connection will read high.

Applies to both dash& ecu sensors

What type of warning is it? As mentioned I get System Error 128: Coolant Sensor is this implying a dash sensor error, an extreme coolant temp warning or non of the above!

Error 128, is either:-

Ecu or dash temp Sensor error; bad earth/ connection resulting in high reading

Sensor damaged

Coolant temp too high ie 134degC , due air in/leak on system.

Or
Engine/Water pump failing

Go through bleed procedure & check engine earth points

If the sensor is reading outside its range either because the sensor is faulty/disconnected or there is a genuine fault where the pre set parameters for the specific warning in the ECU are exceeded then it will flash up on the dash.

So in answer to your question its yes it can be a sensor error or a fault.

Great, when watching the water levels it was erratic but didn't just anywhere near 134 degrees, so I'm guessing its the dash temp sensor for now.
