ACT, Jason and JP have been working on the development of this for a long time. I would definately consider doing this but would need to hear one on a car first. The cans look really good.

I recently bought the complete system from cats to tail pipes from ACT for my Tuscan S, the good thing about ACT and JP's is they will play around with the cans until you get the sound your happy with, at no extra cost. I sent my cans back twice until I got the sound I wanted, and I think Tim told me they are guaranteed for the life of the car.

Just got mine back and fitted to the car, see link for sound:

It not a particularly good representation of the sound they are much better in the flesh.

Sounds awesome!
However i would like to hear in the fleash and also see if the tail pipes are any bigger than the standard ones.
I just hate the space left that you can see around the bottom of the standard cans and would rather see a larger box there to fill it.

Cheers cliff. It does sound good.
agree.. act top class- by mistake sent the wrong decats when i ordered. I called them that day and they sent out the correct ones no questions asked the same day 1st class with payed packaging to return the wrong ones.

Is this the new full system your on about that replaces the cans and back box for around a £1000. Mr Varley has act cans and they sound great. They are a good size too filling the space perfect so I would think the can is the same size as his.

Braders, did you leave the de-cats on or have you gone back to cats. I really dislike the sound of standard exhaust de-catted, too tinny and raspy at high revs. I do miss the low down, bassier, deeper burble of my old Tuscan though, compared to my Sag. Need to know what the Sag sounds like though with the new system, both with and without cats. How much for the install please? Cheers.

A much cheaper alternative is to have your back box modified by CLIVEF on here and then de-cat it. I am really impressed with the change in number and type of decibels, as are most people who hear it. Loads of pops and bangs, and a much deeper, throater sound with no raspy, tinny noise, and quiet enough on part throttle for long motorway trips.

You're not the same Simon that my wife and I joined for a very enjoyable Saturday evening meal with you and yours and your friends at the Bulls Head in Follow during this years Chatsworth weekend, are you?

If so, great to hear from you!

Could you possibly record the sound and post on YouTube?

Mike - You mention getting the back box modified by CLIVEF, who or where are they. I have a Saggy and would like a deeper exh sound but don't want to change from the original side cans. I am just about to remove the Cats again, which unfortunately have to be fitted once a year.

GeminiJS. I have clive`s modded back box and end cans which i think look thumbup

But have also kept the standard end cans which can be changed over in 5 mins.
It has certainly given the car a much deeper bassier note, and is a big improvement over the standard system.
But am also very keen to hear what the new act/str8six system sounds likeyes

Clive Ford is a legend.

Clive has also modded my back box and with various end cans I am able to achieve loud, bassy notes. Most people at titt7 loved the sound system.

Happens to be a top banana bloke. I also had the pleasure of listening to Str8six,s new system on Braders Sagaris. I was very impressed too.

Good luck.
