I have been led to believe that the mirror glass for a T350C originally came from a VW Corrado.

However, I have just bought a used VW Corrado door mirror glass for my T350C and it is different..

The Corrado door glass is the same size as the T350C but the backing is completly different (although it will fit)

My 54 T350c has a long curved plactic prong coming from near the outside edge of the backing and much smaller spade connectors (like speaker connectors) and had an 04 manufacturing stamp in the plastic (made in Germany). See the picture below:

The 91 Corrado Mirror that I bought has nothing sticking out of the back and standard size spade connectors?
See the picture below:

Any thoughts on what might fit my car?

a friend of mine recently bought a VW Corrado and we noticed then the door mirrors were the same as my Tiv.

Maybe different year Corrados had different mirror backings. I will check with him and let you know.

Got both sides from here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sis.html?_kw=VOLKSWAGEN+...
Arrived within 2 days - easy to fit just do what it says regarding cleaning the mounting surface before fitting and apply firm pressure.

From what I can see those are not heated mirrors, were your last ones?

I replaced both mirror glasess when i had my T350. Bought them from VW and yes they are off a Corrado. Form memory, they were a direct replacement.

Yep got mine from the same place bought both sides but only replaced the drivers side as the mirrored backing was degrading. Simple job & a direct replacement. Still on after 6K miles...cheap as chips!

Ditto, cannot fault them -
Definitely heated versions, seller offers
both non and heated in convex and flat so check before ordering that you get your correct preference

You should be able to identify flat from convex, just find something that has a has a straight edge smaller than the length of the mirror, lay it on the glass if it touches along it's length it's flat. smile

Nothing to sop them filling the from air intake in and giving it a respray, the back of the seats look to like Kieffs for me.

Are Str8six buying up private cars and recommisioning them and then selling on?
