Looks like I'm joining the fold following my earlier thread 'Griff 500 to Tamora' (thanks to those who replied) and have a query...

I have a trickle charger (accumate) that I use on the Griff - connector is in the passenger footwell near the battery. Will I be able to use the same trickle charger with the Tamora? I know a battery is a battery but I'm just wondering where its located and how I will be able to gain access to install the connector lead?

If I cant use my current charger I may as well let it go with the Griff.

Thanks in advance

Pete

I hard wired the connector for the charger to the back of the fag lighter (requires a hole to pass the cable through) and keep the cable tucked out of the way there when not in use.

The battery on the Tam is behind the PS side front wheel. You could go through the grommet on the bulkhead to the battery but off the cig lighter works just fine.

Just use the cigar lighter adaptor. Has worked perfectly well for me for years.

Yup, exactly the same. I got a cable put through to the passenger footwell, 5 minute job for someone with the know how.

You can buy the leads for about £8, cheaper than buying a new charger

Checked my Accumate box in the garage last night and all the leads are there.

Been thinking...I don't have the Tamora yet (its still at the garage being prepped) - I can't remember where the ciggy lighter is located? Looked at a few interior photo's and can't see it.

No biggy - sure I'll find it when the car arrives - just curious as to where it is...

It's in the little storage area in the centre console - under the stereo. It faces away from you so you can't see it in any pictures.

Just, just like the ashtray - so if you try and smoke you set fire to the carpet.
