Tamora airconditioning

Forgive me if this topic is raised somewhere else, but although I've been having a ball in my new Tamora, in the Brisbane Summer the heat in this car is almost unbearable. I'm talking to people about getting a custom aircon installation, but if you guys have some suggestion about how, what, how much, or even who can do this (in Australia) I'd really appreciate some feedback.

I can't even figure out how you could drive an aircon unit off this motor - there doesnt seem to be any pulleys at the front?

The aircon compressor sits in front of the alternator,

Would suggest you give Jason @ Str8six a call he offers a retro fit option and perhaps he could do you a kit and ship it over and you get a local specialist to fit it.

Look at the pic on this ebay ad you can see how the drive works with a secondary shaft to drive the alternator.

Has your Tam had the extra heat shield stuff under the drive train and gear knob etc, I dont have a/c on my car and after all above was done its so much cooler in the cabin.
I am hoping to bring my car over in 18months or so, have you had any extra fans fitted? Was your car on personal import thingy or has a Tam got type approval now.I have seen two other colour Tams in Oz it will be nice to be the forth one!
