Hi folks

I've been chatting to Andrew at S&D and he's proposed a number of quite nice, but very different, rear light pod cluster designs for the Sagaris.

  • One that looks like a Lotus rear cluster backend
  • One that looks like a T440/400R rear cluster backend
Plus a few others.

I was wondering if anyone has had this sort of work done on their Sag/T350 etc. and if they had any pictures of what they looked like?

It might be no one has looked at this before or had it done, but if they have I would be interested in seeing some live examples rather than the mocks that Andrew sent me - which do look nice.

Thanks!

Time for me to break cover again!

OK, the rear reflectors are going, to be replaced where the rear brake-light was.

The horizontal reflectors in the light assembly are going to be replaced with the brake lights.

I want it to remain looking stock, but with subtle modifications.

Yes, I have a number of them, but I would want to check with Andrew before I publish them here. Might be CC/CiC/IPR issues.

Personally, I don't think the Sag would look nice with the T440 style. The boomerang light clustre defines the rear top quarters of the Sag brilliantly.

I could see an arguement for removing the smoke lens itself and using a different style of lamp but I think the overall shape is right for the car.

yes Which is why I wanted to see some examples if possible. I like the current one as well, but didn't want to just make a snap decision without trying to see some examples first.

Licking knives is strange. I just hug my axe and whisper "Soon, my pretty, soon....."

Those of you determined on modifying road Sags (beyond what is reasonable i.e. vents, engine upgrade, Power wheels, JP/ACT exhaust) go ahead.... and watch the value of your car plummet! If you're gonna keep the car FOREVER then fine, do what the hell you want; but if you want to retain both value and originality and secure the future of these "original" cars as future classics... please, please, please STOP FcensoredING ABOUT with them!!! For the life of me, I don't understand why any Sag owner would even consider modifying this iconic body styling. weeping

Errr.... only one person on this forum has done that (BlackiePaul), with his LS7. Doesn't seem to have affected the value of that too much!
